Horsehair braid is now back in stock, and with a new width available - 100mm wide!! If you're looking for ideas on how to use horsehair braid, there are some great blogs out there. A few to check out include ...
(Note that these blogs discuss horsehair braid that has a thread running through it, however the type we have available doesn't have this. All you need to do is to ease stitch along one edge of the braid before you apply it to the garment.)

If you've been waiting for some Folkwear patterns to come back in stock, well you're in luck! A new order has just arrived and stock levels have been updated on the website.
Pssst, that includes all the Edwardian patterns - I know of a few 100 year anniversaries happening around the country. How fun would it be to go in costume to your local event?!
I will be taking my boxes and boxes of beautiful ribbons, buttons, patterns and haberdashery items to the Craft Alive event in Wagga Wagga on 3 - 5 August 2012. There'll also be corset kits to get you started and I'll be giving talks on the basics of corset making.
If you'd like to buy some items from the website, but want to pick them up at the fair (saving on postage costs, which is always a good thing!), then please contact me with the details of the items you'd like by COB Wednesday 1 August, and I'll bring them along for you.
Hopefully I'll see you there!
