Metal tips to apply to cut edges of steel boning, preventing wear and tear on your fabric from the sharp edges. Tips are available to fit both 6mm and 11mm wide boning.
These tips are suitable for both spiral and spring steel boning. However, when using the tips on spring steel boning, you must first seal the ends to prevent moisture from entering under the nylon coating and rusting the steal. Dipping the cut ends of the boning in some enamel paint before applying the metal tips should do the trick.
Boning tips are sold in packs of a dozen.
